Background: Nutritional status during pregnancy has a significant impact on maternal and newborn health. Nutritional status in pregnant women is closely related to the mother's weight before pregnancy greatly affects the growth of the fetus in the womb. Research Objective: to determine the description of maternal knowledge about nutrition during pregnancy in outpatient care at Royal Taruma Hospital Jakarta. Research Design: this is a quantitative descriptive study. The population in this study were nurses at Hospital as many as 57 Respondents. Data collection in this study used a questionnaire sheet then tested with Univariate Analysis. Research Results: this shows statistical results of good knowledge of pregnant women by (52.6%), pregnant women with less knowledge by (47.4%) and mean values (1.47) and SD (0.504). Conclusion: in providing nutritional status to pregnant women is closely related to the mother's weight before pregnancy greatly affects the growth of the fetus in the womb.
